The truth is you can reheat pretty much any food that has been frozen or refrigerated. It’s simply a matter of using the right approach with the right appliance.

For foods that have been baked or grilled, your best approach is likely going to be to place the food back in the oven or back on the grill. For foods that have been breaded or fried, our best chances are likely going to be using the air fryer or the oven.

It’s really about finding that perfect combination of method and tool.

For quiche, our best bet is likely going to be the air fryer. But let’s run through each appliance just to be sure.

With egg, milk, cheese, and any other ingredients within the quiche, we’re dealing with a lot of dairy and possibly meats, so they could attract bacteria.

To avoid any potential hazards and food poisoning, the general guidelines say to heat leftovers to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Reheating quiche in the microwave is not my favorite. Honestly, reheating any egg dish in the microwave is a bit nerve-wracking.

  2. Place the quiche on a microwave-safe plate and heat it at 50 percent power for 2 minutes.
  3. Check to see if the dish is warm enough then heat in 30-second increments after that until it’s done.

Reheating quiche in an air fryer is quick, easy, and efficient.

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and allow the quiche to come to room temperature on the counter.
  2. Place the quiche in the air fryer and heat for about 4 minutes before checking to see if it is warmed through.
  3. Heat for another couple of minutes if necessary.
  4. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!

How to Reheat Quiche on a Grill

While I won’t send you outside running for your grill, you can absolutely get this dish reheated over the fire.

  1. Get a roaring fire going in your grill and get your coals nice and hot then allow the flame to burn low.
  2. Wrap the quiche in aluminum foil and place it directly on the grill over low flame.
  3. Heat the quiche for a few minutes on one side, flip the quiche and heat for another couple of minutes.
  4. Check the temperature to be sure it’s warm enough, and if necessary, you can heat it on both sides for another couple of minutes.

How to Reheat Quiche in a Toaster Oven

The toaster oven is such a wonderful appliance to have around. It has saved many college students and new apartment dwellers.

  3. Heat the quiche for about 10 minutes and check to be sure it is warmed through.
  4. If necessary, you can heat for another 5 minutes.

While reheating food on the stove is usually my favorite approach for most leftovers, it’s not the best for quiche. You really want to heat this dish through without drying it out or turning it rubbery.

However, if the stove is your only option, it is possible.

  1. Place a cast iron skillet on the stove over medium low heat and drizzle some olive oil in the bottom of the pan.
  2. Place the quiche in the pan and cover it with a lid.
  3. You’re basically going to be steaming the quiche slowly until it’s done.
  4. Allow it to steam for a couple of minutes and check to be sure it’s warmed through.
  5. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Of all the appliances, the air fryer has to be the winner for quiche. It’s quick, easy, efficient, and it gets the quiche crispy on the outside and warm on the inside.
